Do you remember where you were 40 years ago? WE DO!
After returning to their hometown in 1976, with an interest in theatre and a desire to continue performing, Ted Cessac, Lynette Winter-Cessac and Dave Pierce formed the Abbey Players and staged Last of the Red Hot Lovers, by Neil Simon, at the Abbeville Country Club. It was met with such a great reception by the community that they, along with Wayne Summers, James E. Fontenot, and Lila Tritico created the non-profit corporation, Abbey Players, Inc. Which has been entertaining audiences of all ages since its creation.
Join us in celebrating the 40th year of the Abbey Players, Inc. by revisiting the very first production of the Abbey Players,
Last of the Red Hot Lovers
