Chamber Membership Awards

In 2017, the Chamber's Membership Committee created the program known today as the Chamber Membership Awards. The awards showcase the impact and vital role that businesses and individuals play in the overall development and well-being of our community. Award winners set themselves apart from the competition and are outstanding representatives of our Vermilion Parish business community.
Each year, businesses and individuals are recognized for their dedication, commitment, and contributions. Winners are nominated by their business peers based on their demonstrated commitment to the advancement of the business community. Winners of the awards are announced at the Chamber's Annual Membership & Installation Banquet held in January.

Business of the Year Award
The Business of the Year Award "honors one business that demonstrates support of the business community, Chamber programs and workforce initiatives."
To be eligible, candidate must be a member of the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce and do business in Vermilion Parish. To see past winners, click here.
Customer Service Award
The Customer Service Award recognizes a "local company or individual dedicated to continuously improving customer satisfaction, exceeding expectations and reacting appropriately to ensure customer satisfaction."
To be eligible, candidate must be a member of the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce and do business in Vermilion Parish, such as: own a business, provide services within the Parish, be an employee to a company in the Parish, volunteer in the Parish. To see past winners, click here.
Make a Difference Award (new for 2022)
The Make a Difference Award " honors an outstanding organization or individual who has shown exemplary service by volunteering their time and energy to enhance the community's overall quality of life."
To be eligible, candidate(s) must be a member of the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce and do business in Vermilion Parish such as civic clubs, non-profit organizations, schools and churches To see past winners, click here..
Vermilion Impact Award (new for 2022)
The Vermilion Impact Award recognizes one "forward thinking company or individual that embraces the unique Vermilion culture and exemplifies what it means to live, work and play in Vermilion Parish." To see past winners, click here..
To be eligible, candidate must be a member of the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce and do business in Vermilion Parish.
Young Professional Award
The Young Professional Award recognizes an individual with "remarkable dependability, dedication and commitment that exemplifies the Chamber Mission through contributions and achievements in business and community service."
To be eligible, candidates must live and/or do business in Vermilion Parish and be under the age of 45. The candidate must have initiative in seeking and filling leadership roles throughout the community, professionalism in their field of work and a vision and passion to mentor and lead others. The candidate must be a member of one of the following programs: Vermilion Chamber of Commerce; FUEL Vermilion, Young Professionals; and/or Leadership Vermilion/Alumni. The following awards were recognized from 2017 - 2021 and have been replaced with the Make a Difference Award and the Vermilion Impact Award in 2022.
Forward Vermilion Award
The Forward Vermilion Award recognizes a "forward thinking company that embraces the unique Vermilion culture and exemplifies what it means to live, work and play in Vermilion Parish."
